The BMW ActiveHybrid 7 supports drivers discreetly by generating vibrations on the steering wheel. At the rear, radar sensors monitor traffic conditions, and a triangular symbol on the base of the exterior mirror shows the driver if there is another vehicle moving into a potentially dangerous position. As soon as the driver uses the indicator to change lanes, they are warned in such a situation by a flashing LED signal and vibrations. The Lane Change Warning is a BMW ConnectedDrive technology.
